With Teck Resources, in the 1990s, Jesse was the Nukay Project GIS geologist. Experiencing the processes and approach to exploration, discovery, and development in a proven successful environment at Teck provided a strong geological and technical foundation. This pragmatic, systematic, and reasoned approach to exploration serves positive outcomes, while minimizing potential downside.
In addition to work on the Los Filos gold discovery, Jesse also worked on many grass roots gold projects in Nevada, and monitored junior exploration company activities for Latin America, providing alerts, and follow up research on promising newly reported drilling programs.
During the downturn in the gold exploration industry, Jesse worked as a Hydrogeologist, and a database administrator.
For Kinross Gold, Jesse prepared a database of promising gold projects in Brazil, that included a ranking system, and deposit classification. Other work involved the evaluation of various property submittals.
Most recently Jesse has worked as the GIS geologist and data manager for the bonanza grade epithermal vein, volcanic hosted, Sleeper gold exploration project. The work included 3d modeling of the mineralized zones, synthesis of the geophysics, geochemistry, and geology, and preparation of reports meeting the NI 43-101 requirements.
